However, my journey took an unexpected turn, and I became a long-term resident as I discovered my passion for learning. I spent more than 10 years in university studying Eastern philosophy, driven by a desire to explore profound questions such as: What is the meaning of life? How should one live? What is the truth?
I aspired to be a teacher who could inspire students to delve into these deeper inquiries. However, after a decade of teaching in universities, I found myself unsatisfied with my ability to guide students through such complex questions and decided to step away from my career in education.

In 2010, I moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, a change that transformed my life. Stepping outside academia, I worked for several years as a social service worker, assisting immigrant communities.
Over the past seven years, I have been working with individuals striving for mental wellness. As I listened to many people’s life stories during that time, I realized that no matter how much social support someone receives, it is difficult to create a new path in life unless they face and work through the issues within their own hearts.
This realization led me to study Expressive Arts Therapy at college. At the same time, I completed a college certificate focused on the social and psychological background of drug and alcohol addiction and the practical aspects of various support programs. I also completed a Reiki Master course and gained experience working with healing energy.

IN 2021, I MET MY CURRENT TEACHER
I began learning how to tap into the subconscious to uncover the root causes of suffering in my daily life.
I began learning how to tap into the subconscious to uncover the root causes of suffering in my daily life.
As I embarked on this journey of self-exploration, I realized how much I had suppressed thoughts I didn’t want to face. In short, I had been avoiding uncomfortable issues. However, I came to understand that the very challenges I was avoiding often manifested in my relationships —especially with my partner, who became a mirror reflecting my inner struggles.
